The wooden cladding of the house evokes a forest, where the material used to construct the building ideally originates from.

The tree trunks are transposed into a graphic pattern, consisting of a warp of vertical wooden strips, which wraps the entire project.
The different wood-grains, colors, lengths and thicknesses of the strips create light and shadow effects which constantly change depending on atmospheric phenomena and the observer’s point of view.
At the openings and terraces, the wooden claddings take on the function of brise-soleil, creating an atmosphere inside evoking the light that filters through tree foliage.
The building is composed of two complementary “L”-shaped bodies joining together in a single volume, ideally evoking the constructive interlocking of two wooden elements.
